Overall reflection...

Dynamic of leadership, a course that surprised me. It really open my eyes, open my mind, open my soul to be a new person, new leader to me, my family and my surrounding. To my lecturer of this course,  ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR. JAMILAH BINTI AHMAD, thank you Dr. Your trademark "what you give, you get back" really marks in my heart.  Before this, I was an extrovert person. Taking part in many events, meeting new people, learning new things everyday, but everything changed when I started working. I've become passive, afraid of presenting, feeling like I'm not valuable in that circle, and the list continues. I feel like I am living in an eternity every day. This all because of toxic people in my circle. Single sentences from someone who was once my friends make my world crumble. I start to lose confidence, feeling less and I'm starting to distance myself from the world.  There is one point I suddenly cry without any reason, feeling angry for small things and sometimes ...

W9 - Weekly reflection

  Week 9... Topic 7 Dyadic Relationship, Followership and Delegation  Assalamualaikum and good day, brilliant people ! Relationship is  the way in which two or more people or things are connected.  This topic we focus more on relationship between leaders and followers. Our lecturer share a quote from Alexander the Great which is "I'm not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I'm afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion". Although its sound funny but the message behind it so powerful. Its means that even though you have a group of very talented teammates and its being led by a not good leader, we can expect the outcome is not good as we expected as the leader have a crucial role in a society.  In my understanding, theory of dyadic leader relationship is about the leader's behaviour that being affected by their followers.   Let me share with you the cycle of Dyadic relationship Leader-Follower Relationships develop over time.
